I can't believe it's been almost a month since I last blogged! I've had some really upsetting things happen in RL but with all the love and support that I've received from friends and family, I feel fortunate to be so blessed. I've got some truly awesome updates though that bring a smile to my face and fill my heart with warmth and love each time I think about them.
Aoi is such a treat and I love him dearly - he's the best I could hope for in a friend and I love him like a brother. When he adopted me as his sissy, I was so touched that my eyes filled with tears. I try to not to think too much about the family tree cause that would make Ash my mom and having her as a boss is more than enough...tee hee hee
Not only are Aoi and I family now, we're roommates! We're living on my land but in Aoi's house which is GORGEOUS! I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to live or a more fun roommie....*grin*
Having been close friends before we started dating we know and understand each other on so many levels that it gives our relationship so much more depth and meaning and Angel constantly amazes me with his consideration, kindness and completely unconditional love. I feel very blessed, honored and cherished - my heart in safe-keeping as our relationship continues to grows stronger in both worlds.

Egads! It's been a week since I last blogged and I know tomorrow will be full of fun stuff so I'd better get posting!
This past week has been awesome and I've had a total blast...

Witnessing the transformation of Garrik into a...businessman? Garrik's been off on vacation so I didn't expect to see him for two weeks - when he popped on today, he was definitely a sight for sore eyes (that's Nish sniffing his butt)...
...and then he busted out that his RL godmother and aunt were in SL...or was it his uncle? Anyhoo...it took a collaborative effort to clean up his profile before he could friend them and then he did the horror or horrors and put on a suit in case they stopped by the club...and look - no more pup! No tail...no ears...he's human! *cries*. He does look very nice...but...but...*sigh*
I most definitely saved the best for last tonight...I got to spend some time in-world with Angel which is always such a special treat even though it's not the only place I get to have him...*big dreamy sigh*

The Pulse sim really is fantastic and has lots of neat nooks and crannies for the most avid of explorers to discover.
I was exploring just the other day and ended up by the cemetery and took this cool photo:
I checked my buddy list today and saw that Krystle was on so I logged into chat with her because she's always such a treat to talk to and hang out with. We ended up at the movie theater watching some black and white horror film:
Angel and I eventually ending up at the club until we both decided to log off for a bit. In the interim, Aire showed up as the most adorable av so I snapped a pic of her right before I logged - how adorable is she?

Yesterday was hilarious...Hez and Vin spent hours sewer fishing and after I logged for a couple hours and came back, they had caught quite a lot of fish - so many in fact that I could barely see Vin through all of his FEEEEESH attachments.
I had something going on then so I didn't think to take a picture so I got some later but I'm getting ahead of myself.
I got the funniest text message from Ash on my phone - she was like "I've got four DJ's sitting in the club fishing and non of them are on the stream"...actually - it's a whole lot funnier now that I think about it - "not on the stream" while they're "fishing"...haha...get it?
Okay, onto the pictures...Aire was DJing later that night and stayed on a bit past her set because Dov was running a bit late - during that time, she took to naming her FEEEEESH after people that worked at the club as well as some of our regulars - I think that beautiful yellow fish in front is Ima...
Kisho said that he wanted to be a five-eyed FEEEESH and faster than you can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" it was done - Aire is so talented! That's Kisho on the left in the center - the really pretty aqua blue fish.
I was the cute little purple FEEESH...yays!

I popped into the club last night and Aire and Lucky were...velociraptors. They were very cute Raptors and had the most polite manners - Lucky only asked me if he could eat me once. *winks*

I've been furnishing my house slowly and omg, my couch is ginormous! It didn't look that big until I climbed up on it...oh goodness, my mind went somewhere else when I said that...tee hee heee

Lately there have been some pretty crappy days had by all but today? IT ROCKED!
I lost my kitty Ash yesterday - we (Kyler and I) spent the day in the ER because he wasn't feeling well (he's my best friend in SL as well as RL and has been visiting for the past 10 days) and when we got back home - NO KITTY-KITTY! It was horrible. HORRIBLE. We searched for Kitty-Kitty and couldn't find him anywhere in the house or around the neighborhood. I'm crazy when it comes to my pets so I spent the night in the back of my Highlander, with the hatchback open, the garage door open and a bowl of kitty food and water hoping he'd come back. It was 32 degrees so after an hour or so I ended up turning on the engine for heat (leaving the hatchback open) and stayed out there until about 4 AM. I had my dog Belle with me but she eventually got too antsy because we were in the car and NOT GOING ANYWHERE (she loves to travel) so we came inside for a little while. First thing this morning (6:30 AM) I had to run some stuff down to a friends house and *chime* I got a text message from Angel. I've been missing him (literally and figuratively) the last couple days so it was fun to talk to him for a bit until he needed to get some sleep (he'd just gotten home from work) so off he went to bed all cute and cuddly-like. Meow-meow!
After I dropped some stuff off at my friend's house, I turned around and went back home. I called all the local Humane Societies and then crashed on the couch for a couple of hours. Around 2 PM, I heard the lady that walks Belle pull up into the driveway (I'm usually gone during the day so she lets Belle out and loves on her for a good 30 minutes) and when she walked into the house, what was she holding in her arms? MY KITTY-KITTY! She said that when she pulled up, he came out from under a bush by the garage and let out a big (and equally pitiful) "MMRREOW!" He's pretty skittish right now and even hissed while I was holding him but I think he'll be okay...I loves my Kitty-Kitty so much...*sappy, tearful sigh* After much snuggling and cuddling of my kitty, I decided to log into SL for a couple of minutes and who jumps on right after me? Mr. Daviau! And it gets EVEN BETTER! DJ KIRA (which is his new DJ name) made his debut at Club Mutation and I most happily sent out a notice announcing the Return of Angel to our pulsating stream.
*Kari crashes again* Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
So much upheaval! It feels like every time I turn around someone is leaving SL or questioning their value/purpose there...Krystle is gone, Tristan is leaving, Twink is only going to be around for his shifts at Club Mutation, Ima is questioning if she'd be missed if she left...other things are unfolding which are sad and upsetting...I don't mind change - I actually think that change is quite healthy but not like this - with so much sadness, anger, disappointment and pain...
I've considered leaving in the past but ultimately have felt that the good outweighed the bad - I also made a promise to someone to stay in SL even though that person never talks to me anymore (which is something I think about every time I log on) but maybe that'll change someday because I love him and miss him dearly.
